Accounting Specialist

Role Overview

• Receive, verify, and record supplier invoices
• Execute and schedule payments
• Reconcile supplier statements
• Maintain accurate records
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Participate in month-end closing activities
• Review balance sheet accounts

Requirements

• Ensure compliance with local tax requirements in each Latin American country
• Execute and schedule payments to suppliers and employee expense reimbursements
• Reconcile supplier statements to identify and resolve discrepancies in balances or outstanding payments
• Maintain accurate historical records of all disbursement transactions for audits
• Perform monthly reconciliations between bank balances and entries in the accounting system
• Participate in month-end closing activities, including recording provisions and accounting adjustments
• Review balance sheet accounts such as advances to suppliers, fixed assets, and accounts receivable
