Own the design direction across game modes, player progression, content, and systems, ensuring execution is cohesive, impactful, and aligned with long-term objectives.
Balance design priorities with player expectations, identify areas for improvement, and challenge the status quo while respecting player preferences.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Design Director and Game Director on a successful PC/console live multiplayer game.
Strong expertise in gameplay design, covering mechanics, meta strategy, level design, systems, content pacing, and player objectives.
Demonstrated track record in video games showing creativity, innovation, and strong analytical skills to translate player behavior into meaningful design decisions.
Deep understanding of live-service games and what it takes to keep players returning.
Proven ability to pitch ideas, influence teams, and align cross-discipline stakeholders.
Passion for asymmetrical gameplay and evolving multiplayer experiences.
