Accountant

Role Overview

• Record and maintain accounting transactions in the general ledger.
• Prepare routine accounting entries.
• Perform account reconciliations and help ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Identify basic discrepancies and work with the team to resolve them.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities.
• Prepare routine financial reports and assist with variance explanations.
• Ensure transactions follow US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Help maintain accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Support process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of general accounting experience (journal entries, reconciliations).
• Familiarity with US GAAP and standard accounting procedures.
• Experience working with accounting systems (NetSuite a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
• Good communication skills, including working with US‑based teams.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule aligned partly with US time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
