About this role

Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure, and scalable database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
Monitor, tune, and optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing strategies, partitioning, and capacity planning
Ensure database security, backup, recovery, and disaster-recovery strategies are properly implemented and regularly tested
Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
Collaborate with application, DevOps, and data engineering teams to support database design, deployments, upgrades, and migrations

5+ years of experience as Database Administrator
Experience with PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, MongoDB
Excellent knowledge of DBA monitoring tools, Data Quality and third party tools
Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications
Strong knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL or NoSQL engines
Experience with Azure or GCP clouds
Experience managing database infrastructure
Skilled in database design and documentation
English — Intermediate or higher
Nice-to-have skills: Experience with generative AI
