Act as the primary designer to create original, high-quality concepts for assigned projects across various mediums, including print, digital, branding and environmental design
Manage projects from original concept through final production and pre-press layouts
Interpret project requests to develop clear, compelling design solutions for creative elements supporting large and complex travel and events programs
Collaborate closely with the creative director and creative project management team, who serve as the front line with internal and external clients
Work closely with Print Production Manager to ensure files are set up correctly for print
Ensure all designs consistently meet brand guidelines and production quality standards
Handle multiple timelines efficiently to ensure all deadlines are met
Participate in developing ideas for new business pitches and campaigns
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in design, art, advertising, or a related field (e.g., BFA in Design)
5–7 years of experience in an agency or design-focused role, demonstrating strong conceptual and production skills
A robust portfolio showcasing creative concept development and execution across diverse platforms (e.g., large format signage, digital and print)
Hands-on expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with current digital design tools, AI and interactive formats is a strong plus
Solid foundation in typography, composition, color theory and foundational design principles
Strong ability to communicate concepts clearly to the broader team and present work effectively
Self-directed and responsible, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision
Stays current on industry trends, design techniques and emerging tools. Brings innovative thinking when researching new and exciting materials for special projects
