Design and implement scalable, high-performance WAN, LAN, and wireless solutions on Cisco and Arista platforms.
Architect network systems for large, complex organizational infrastructures with a focus on reliability and security.
Plan, design, and deploy MPLS networks and design systems that incorporate advanced QoS strategies and traffic-shaping mechanisms.
Implement and manage routing and switching technologies, particularly OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
Troubleshoot and optimize WAN routing configurations across multiple locations.
Apply appropriate encryption standards to secure data traffic across wide area networks.
Work with internal teams to ensure the network complies with industry standards and regulations, including implementing Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) encryption protocols.
Collaborate with internal teams including IT security, Tech Fellows, and stakeholders to align network architecture with business requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration guides, and capacity-planning documents.
Provide exceptional training and knowledge transfer to junior designers to support shared growth and team development.
Provide expert troubleshooting of network-related issues for LAN, WAN, wireless, and demilitarized zone (DMZ) networks.
Lead the team with a “one for all, all for one” attitude.
Assist in managing and owning the ticket queue for INTL queues and break/fix tickets to improve service restoration and meet metrics.
Assist in managing the GSEP design change request queue.
Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled in the ONCALL calendar, including weekends and off-hours as needed.
Requirements
Must have existing authorization to work in Brazil.
Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English.
Senior-level experience with Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
Cisco CCIE and Arista ACE-T certifications.
Senior-level experience with Quality of Service (QoS), routing, and switching protocols.
Senior-level experience designing and implementing large-scale network architectures, including complex routing and switching configurations.
Senior-level experience with network security, including practical experience implementing and managing encryption standards such as IPSec, SSL, and GETVPN.
Senior-level experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow).
Senior-level experience with incident management.
