Design and develop insulation parts, assemblies, and systems (thermal and acoustic) in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards;
Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of components while accounting for insulation, packaging, and environmental constraints;
Integrate insulating materials (thermal, acoustic, anti-vibration) into designs considering performance, weight, and installation constraints;
Prepare, interpret, and modify plans, drawings, and technical specifications for various types of insulated structures and systems;
Ensure designs comply with applicable standards (aerospace, fire safety, thermal/acoustic performance, etc.);
Participate in resolving production-related technical issues, particularly those related to installation or system performance;
Analyze Engineering Change Notices/Requests (ECN/ECR) and propose optimized solutions;
Conduct technical research on materials, processes, and innovative insulation solutions;
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure effective integration of concepts;
Provide technical support to production, especially for assembly and insulation installation issues;
Participate in concept validation (design reviews, feasibility, tolerances, interfaces);
Write and maintain technical documentation and quality procedures;
Review assembly instructions and ensure proper integration of insulation solutions;
Contribute to R&D activities, particularly aimed at improving thermal and acoustic performance;
Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement of design practices;
Support proposal activities and workload planning;
Understand and apply quality standard requirements (AS9100) and the QMS processes;
Perform any other duties related to the position.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience;
DEC in Aeronautical Construction or Mechanical Engineering;
Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sector is an asset;
Experience in structural insulation;
Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint);
Knowledge of First Article Inspection processes;
Proficient with design and modeling software (CATIA V5 and 3DVia);
Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken.
