About this role
Role Overview
Support annual legal budgeting and forecasting processes
Administer department-wide budget surveys and consolidate inputs
Maintain budget tracking tools and reporting for Finance (A&F)
Track and maintain attorney bar licenses and in-house counsel memberships
Administer legal intake and workflow systems, including contract system requests (LEAH)
Monitor request lifecycle, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely follow-up
Manage user access, onboarding/offboarding, and license utilization reporting
Develop and maintain SOPs, job aids, and process documentation
Develop and maintain Legal Operations Maturity Model and Value Proposition
Assist with preparing board-level materials, dashboards, and legal metrics reporting
Analyze system and operational data to support decision-making and demonstrate value
Manage project plans in Smartsheet for legal and compliance initiatives
Oversee entity management using company vendor(s) in coordination with attorneys
Assist executive assistant with coordinating quarterly team meetings
Support cross-functional projects (e.g., Compliance Week, policy review initiatives)
Coordinate vendor relationships (e.g., legal research tools, training platforms, outside counsel, conferences, memberships, etc.)
Provide backup executive assistant support to legal leadership as needed
Requirements
Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or related field
Bachelor's degree and Paralegal Certificate preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a legal, compliance, legal operations, or related field
Familiarity with platforms such as CPAI, LEAH, or similar contract lifecycle management (CLM) preferred
Experience in project management preferred
Proficiency in MS Office required
Experience with tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and generative AI (MS Copilot) are preferred
Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive/confidential information
