Review, underwrite, negotiate, and recommend new loan originations and refinances within established guidelines
Analyze borrower and tenant financials, organizational structures, and third-party reports
Prepare underwriting spreadsheets, commitment letters, and documentation for extensions, assumptions, modifications, and other loan actions
Support communication and workflow between underwriting, investor relations, closing, and servicing teams
Develop and maintain portfolio reports, models, and market research to support mortgage investment decisions
Conduct property site inspections and provide analytical support to the investment division

Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or a related field
2+ years of experience in commercial mortgage lending, real estate investment, or a related field
Working knowledge of commercial mortgage lending practices, legal documentation, and real estate valuation concepts
Proficiency with financial analysis, underwriting techniques, and spreadsheet software
Ability to manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret and present financial and underwriting information clearly
Experience with mortgage loan databases or investment analysis software
Familiarity with real estate market research and portfolio reporting
