Directly supervise, mentor, and coach a team of 10-20 teammates.
Identify performance deficiencies or process gaps through root cause analysis; address these by providing timely coaching, creating development plans, and managing performance.
Monitor team productivity and ensure departmental goals are met.
Address teammate relations issues, escalating to the manager as necessary.
Manage staffing plans, recruitment, and retention of teammates.
Conduct annual Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) and manage disciplinary actions.
Maintain high engagement scores for the assigned team (>80%).
Assess team resourcing to intake and assign projects and resource allocation.
Monitor team productivity and project status to ensure timelines and deliverables are met within a time-sensitive environment.
Lead or actively participate in special projects and strategic initiatives.
Identify system and process improvement opportunities.
Requirements
2 years of related supervisory experience required.
Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Proven track record of leading change or operations through influence.
Relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle preferred.
