Role Overview
- Works independently taking full responsibility for a certain area
- Works on quality engineering projects using available frameworks and tools
- Creates and executes basic non-functional test scripts following guidelines
- Designs, codes, tests and documents simple programs or scripts
- Accurately identifies project risks and reports to relevant stakeholders
- Manages issues, risks, actions, dependencies, and defects to project success
- Creates traceability records from test cases back to requirements
- Reports on system quality and collects metrics on test cases
- Provides guidance to junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
- ISTQB Foundation certification desirable.
- Certification in NFT tools such as LoadRunner, LoadUI
- Additional learnings or certification in Quality Engineering
- Experience and knowledge in NFT, performance and test automation tools
- Intermediate theoretical knowledge in quality engineering methodologies
- Proficient in at least one programming language (ideally VB, Java or C#)
- Knowledge of Cloud concepts and virtualisation
- Client-facing ability and quality verbal and written communication
