Apply engineering principles to broad, complex technical project work by performing in-depth analyses and utilizing advanced methodologies
Provide technical expertise and leadership within project teams, supporting innovative technology initiatives
Documentation and communication identifying issues are essential, both to internal teams and external vendors, to ensure effective problem resolution
Working with the project teams within the company, the individual delivers both functional and technical leadership, while externally submitting vendor feature requests
Develop test cases based on architecture and requirements documents to validate new technologies and features and executing these test cases according to established test plans to ensure thorough validation of products and processes
Work with automation of existing manual test cases is required to improve efficiency and accuracy in testing processes
Review Method of Procedures (MOPs) documents for accuracy and compliance with established standards is critical, as is documenting all defects identified during testing and following up with suitable teams to drive resolution
Collaborate with third-party vendors is necessary to gather information and resolve defects efficiently
Participation in document reviews, including test plans, MOPs, architecture, and requirements documents
Support prplOS migrations and provides operational monitoring for the LCL Lab
Work with Turquois and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the operation and certification processes for Residential Gateways
Utilize the knowledge of ATT RGs and their supported features along with an understanding of LCL certification lab and the end-to-end environment
Work with expertise in IPv4, Dual-Stack, native IPv6, GRE, and IPSEC
Utilize the knowledge of XPON, GPON, xDSL and broadband standards such as TR-069, TR-098, TR-104, and TR-18
Work with security standards, Element Management Systems (EMS), and scripting languages like Python, as well as test automation frameworks such as Robot
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
Eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or Eight (8) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation
Working with Turquois and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the operation and certification processes for Residential Gateways
