Content Writers Team Lead

Role Overview

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of writers — setting clear expectations, giving regular feedback, and helping everyone grow.
• Maintain editorial standards across all human-produced content, ensuring everything that leaves your team meets the highest standard.
• Own Hostinger blog’s editorial direction — governing the content calendar and making sure every post reflects the brand's voice, messaging and standards.
• Hire, onboard, and grow your team based on company and team’s needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years writing or editing, with at least 2 in a team lead role
• Proven experience managing or mentoring content writers
• Strong editorial confidence
• a clear editorial point of view, and the confidence to articulate and defend it
• Familiarity with SEO content and what makes it work editorially
• Strategic thinking
• you see patterns, identify and fix root problem rather than treating symptoms
• Experience in digital media, publishing, or content marketing
• Experience owning or contributing to a brand style guide
• Comfortable with basic analytics tools
• Business-first thinking
• you connect content decisions to new clients and billings
• Experience with AI-assisted writing workflows
