Build and operate production backend systems that enrich and improve the listening experience of music videos
Design, develop, and evolve scalable backend services and APIs that support high-traffic surfaces
Architect, develop, and operate Java services and Scio pipelines used by millions of listeners every day
Partner closely with product managers and engineers to solve complex problems and deliver seamless user experiences
Contribute within an autonomous, cross-functional squad, contributing to system design, code quality, and operational excellence

strong fundamentals in computer science and previous experience building backend services at scale.
proficient in at least one backend programming language such as Java, Scala, Python, or similar.
highly adaptable and enjoy picking up new technologies, moving confidently across different parts of systems and tech stacks.
comfortable using AI-powered developer tools such as Claude as part of your development workflow to learn new technologies, accelerate development, and solve complex problems.
thrive in fast-moving environments, handle change with ease, and communicate clearly with teammates and external partners.
