Role Overview
- This position is responsible for the design and development of warehousing and distribution solutions tailored to meet customer needs.
- Analyzing complex customer order profiles, operational workflows, storage requirements, equipment specifications, labor needs, and product characteristics.
- Accountable for developing pricing models and collaborating with internal stakeholders to define project requirements.
- Utilizes the Logistics Engineering Analysis Package (LEAP) system to assess total costs (including direct and indirect costs), ensure optimal revenue generation, and support the implementation of new business initiatives.
- Working cross-functionally with teams such as Business Development and Operations, contributes to the creation of cost-effective Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) pricing models aimed at securing new business opportunities and driving profitable growth.
- Involves direct interaction with customers to assess their requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
- Involves the preparation of business proposals, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and the development of clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Italian Language (C1/C2)
- Knowledge of English Language (B2/C1/C2)
- Experience in IE or Supply Chain Solution Design and Development
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
- Experience using Microsoft products (Access & Excel)
- Understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS) design and functionality
- Demonstrates a detailed understanding of supply chain concepts; makes recommendations for changes to solve supply chain problems
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of physical asset design; identifies problems or issues with current physical assets; modifies or adjusts existing physical asset designs; recommends physical asset specifications
- Identifies routine work methods/processes/flows to analyze; describes in general terms, process capability studies; describes the basic steps in analysis of data related to people, technology, or information
