Role Overview
- Development of systems using Java/J2EE and related technologies
- Work with frameworks such as Spring and tools like Maven
- Implement and manage applications in production environments
- Collaborate with teams to ensure delivery of high-quality systems
Requirements
- Strong experience developing systems using Java/J2EE and related technologies:
- Java 8, Java 17 and Java 21
- Spring Framework
- Spring Boot
- EJB
- JPA and Hibernate
- Application servers: JBoss and WildFly; HTTP servers: Jetty, Undertow
- Maven
- IntelliJ or Eclipse
- Use of digital certificates / Java Secure Socket Extension (JSSE)
- Distributed application architecture using REST, SOAP Web Services, RMI
- Implementation of REST APIs using Swagger
- Excellent knowledge of implementing HTTPS (TLS) and Mutual-SSL (mTLS) communication in Java
- Good knowledge of application containerization and Docker
- Strong understanding of integration concepts and architectures applying Event-Based Architecture and Event Streaming
- Good knowledge of databases: Oracle Database and MongoDB
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Modeling and UML
- Good knowledge of Apache Kafka or ActiveMQ
- Familiarity with cloud computing principles
- Solid knowledge of data formats, encoding and structures including: JSON, XML, ProtoBuf (Google Protocol Buffers) or Apache Avro
- Good knowledge of industry Design Patterns (Reference: Gang of Four)
- Intermediate English (reading, writing and speaking)
