On-site and remote support for school networks and public educational institutions
Planning and advising on IT hardware, operating systems, network equipment, and concept development
Installing, configuring, and administering Windows server environments (AD DS, DNS, DHCP, RDS, file and print servers), Windows client operating systems and software, NAS systems, backup software, as well as network infrastructures (LAN, VLANs, WLAN, WAN) and peripherals (printers, digital boards, interactive whiteboards, etc.)
Analyzing incidents and resolving issues
Independently developing solutions and managing documentation
Repairing server and client hardware
Training teaching staff in the operation of the systems

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (or equivalent); alternatively career changers with professional experience in a comparable field
Very good technical knowledge of workplace systems in use (PCs, notebooks, tablets, printers, etc.)
Practical experience in troubleshooting Windows operating systems
Advanced knowledge of current Microsoft client systems (Windows 10 and newer)
Practical experience with application programs from Office 2016 onward and ideally experience with Microsoft 365
At least basic knowledge of ITIL operational processes (certification not mandatory) and experience with the operation and use of a ticketing system
Ideally solid knowledge of current Microsoft server systems (2016 and newer) and experience with server virtualization based on Proxmox or VMware
Basic knowledge of network technology
Fluent German language skills and good command of English
Ideally certification for the educational network MNS+ or iServ
Class B driving licence
