Technically lead the project team for static evaluations of metallic, composite, and hybrid fuselage structures using analytical methods and Finite Element Analysis.
Plan and analyze tests—from component level to full-scale—to validate calculation models with test data.
Collaborate with Design and Fatigue & Damage Tolerance teams to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards.
Investigate structural failures to determine root causes and validate effective repair schemes.
Define technical scopes, workload sizing, and lead times while ensuring high-quality output and risk mitigation.
Present technical findings in steering ceremonies, clarifying assumptions and interdependencies for stakeholders.
Stay at the forefront of industry advancements to improve internal analysis tools and methods.
Requirements
You hold a Master’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent).
You have extensive experience and deep knowledge of Structural Analysis, specifically Static Analysis for Fuselage Primary Structure.
You are proficient in using associated processes, methods, and tools.
You have proven experience in the technical leadership of projects.
You enjoy working with many interfaces with different knowledge levels and cultural backgrounds adapting your communication accordingly.
You have a creative data-driven mindset and are motivated to improve the way we work and interact with the world around us (e.g. using AI and/or coding).
You have the capabilities to interpret the environmental context and influence decision-making within the company.
Fluency in English is mandatory, German is appreciated.
