Lead and manage a team of NOC personnel, including task oversight, timesheet approval, performance reviews, etc.
Facilitate the weekly Network Operations meeting; review prior outages, upcoming maintenance, departmental incidents, and ensure items are captured in calendars and reports.
Serve as Deputy ITOC Manager, participating in the on-call rotation and managing major IT incidents and daily operations calls when required.
Oversee the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, Wi-Fi).
Monitor and respond to network alerts, ensure incidents are accurately documented, and maintain up-to-date communications in Teams and stakeholder channels.
Maintain network compliance through proper configuration, patching, change management, and adherence to security and regulatory standards.
Analyze and report on network KPIs, author the monthly outage report, and present NOC performance in contract leadership briefings.
Collaborate with internal teams and customer leadership to ensure alignment on network health, operations planning, and incident response.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in network operations or infrastructure support.
2+ years in a team leadership or management role
Experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco network and/or security equipment.
Proficiency in network design documentation using Visio and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and recognize solutions.
Experience with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols.
Familiarity with MPLS networks.
Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture, protocols, and tools.
Must be able to pass federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust.
