Perform needs analysis for a course of standard complexity and scope.
Design, develop, and maintain training assets that support partners, customers, and employees with the use of the MSI product suite, including, but not limited to, instructor guides, student workbooks, powerpoints, and online modules.
Write concise, technical, and effective instructional content for a variety of deliverables, including lesson plans, guides, online content, and more.
Create and utilize multimedia elements, simulations, and assessments to enhance the effectiveness of learning materials.
Proactively use LLMs (i.e. Google Gemini, NotebookLM) and AI tools to assist with content creation and operational efficiencies.
Follow a scalable and repeatable process in the scoping, creation, and maintenance of content.
Manage and monitor training assets and courses in the LMS.
Collaborate with SMEs to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of content.
Work closely with project manager(s) to manage a small portfolio of product(s).
Work closely with team leads to ensure training content is focused on the right content and fills knowledge gaps.
Requirements
A minimum 1+ year of related experience
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Content organization and structuring skills
Some knowledge of ILT learning design and development models, adult learning principles, and delivery methods
Some knowledge of publishing tools and graphic editors such as Adobe Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Strong background in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications
Experience or interest in using generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, NotebookLM) in training content development or delivery
Aptitude to learn new technologies and software quickly and be able to convey the meaning of complex concepts clearly to a broad audience
Certification in education, adult education, communications, instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum studies, or a related field
