Role Overview
- Enforce use of safety equipment/clothing as required by OSHA
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements of the company
- Maintain appropriate safety records
- Investigate incidents and complete reports
- Assist Site Manager with administrative counseling
- Hold safety meetings/jobsite reviews
- Conduct daily safety meetings
- Conduct orientation and jobsite specific training
- Implement and enforce Gray’s safety program on site
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree
- OSHA 30 Hour card
- Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
