Conduct interviews with key stakeholders across BILH hospital sites to understand current workflows and future-state requirements
Document and analyze existing processes from disparate legacy systems
Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements
Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and consolidation as BILH transitions to a single system
Collaborate with technical teams and vendor consultants to configure the research administration suite to meet institutional requirements across the BILH network
Participate in system design sessions to ensure workflows align with academic medical center operations and regulatory requirements
Review and validate system configurations, integrations with existing systems (ERP, HR, finance, e.g. Workday, Epic, iLabs, etc.), and data migration strategies from multiple legacy platforms
Support development of custom reports, dashboards, and analytics capabilities
Map and document current and future-state business processes
Ensure processes support compliance with federal regulations (NIH, NSF, FDA, OMB Uniform Guidance, etc.) and institutional policies
Recommend process improvements that leverage system capabilities while maintaining regulatory compliance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field
3-5 years of business analysis experience
Experience with enterprise software implementations or large-scale system projects
Proven ability to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into technical specifications
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency with process mapping tools and MS Office suite
