Serve as a business partner for indirect taxes, supporting commercial and operational areas with strategic guidance, opportunity identification, and risk assessment
Lead tax efficiency and optimization projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance
Oversee end-to-end tax compliance activities, including filings and ancillary obligations
Manage external tax service providers, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to scope
Act as the tax lead on the Tax Reform project, including planning, process design, testing, and coordination with stakeholders
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess impacts, proposing appropriate actions
Lead tax projects, manage the Billing team, and ensure operational accuracy and tax compliance
Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency, and manage, develop, and evaluate the team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Law, Economics, or a related field
Proven experience in indirect taxes, preferably in multinational or complex environments
Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation at federal, state, and municipal levels
Experience leading teams, tax projects, and implementing processes
Experience managing external tax consultants or service providers
Advanced Excel skills
Experience anticipating scenarios, proposing solutions, and structuring legal strategies to reduce tax burden
