Requirements
Total experience: 7.5+ years leads process transformation, designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) solutions, acting as a liaison between business and IT, managing projects, providing expert guidance on best practices (like GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Profitability), mentoring junior staff, and ensuring system alignment with business goals and compliance, often requiring strong stakeholder communication.
Should have done multiple full lifecycle implementations, significant S/4HANA experience often required
Must have deep expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
Should have understanding of global accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and industry-specific regulatory requirements
Should have cross-functional Knowledge; strong understanding of integration points with MM, SD, PP modules
Should have technical familiarity with SAP best practices, statutory/tax requirements, and potentially integration tools
Should be able to guide and mentor junior consultants, fostering knowledge transfer
Should have excellent communication, problem-solving, leadership, and client-facing skills
Experience in mergers and acquisition and large projects is a plus
