Role Overview
- Provides category leadership for key sub-categories of spend in support of their global category.
- Collaborates across procurement and beyond to drive end-to-end spend management.
- Manages strategic suppliers, OEMs, engineering consultancies, EPC partners, and maintenance contractors.
- Implements transformation initiatives that deliver incremental business value.
- Ensures supplier performance in a dynamic business environment and implements change across diverse partner landscapes.
Requirements
- Knowledge of category management principles and experience in undertaking procurement processes and developing category strategies.
- Stakeholder management and influencing skills to develop a deep understanding of the supported businesses / regions / assets and their priorities.
- Knowledge of procurement within a complex multinational business.
- Experience in leading initiatives internationally, recognizing cultural nuances, analyzing data-driven trends & insights, employing agile/flexible approaches.
- The ability to evaluate innovative solutions and manage risk.
