Role Overview
- Ensure peak performance of Valmet’s process analyzers at customer sites.
- Daily customer meetings to determine the scope of what is needed and follow up on work that has been performed.
- Constant customer training and interactions with operations to be sure equipment is performing and being utilized as expected.
- Perform sensor correlations.
- Perform preventive and remedial maintenance and fault finding as needed, including daily cleaning and performance checks.
- Provide emergency, remote, phone and internet support to customers.
- Generate quality reports.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or associate's degree in electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Chemical or Paper engineering with relevant experience.
- Instrumentation and controls background.
- Have a good understanding of paper making processes.
- Good working knowledge of Windows and networking, knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Good interpersonal skills. Our employees interact with confidence within all organizational levels.
- The ability to use tools appropriately and in a safe manner.
- Be able to lift up to 30lbs
- Strong fault-finding skills and a paying attention to detail.
- The ability to self-manage time and work with little to no supervision.
