Role Overview
- Lead M&A strategy development and deal origination, execution, and integration
- Manage relationships with investment banks
- Lead due diligence teams and close transactions
- Integrate acquired companies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years relevant experience in corporate development, investment bank, and/or private equity investing in financial services and/or payments or consumer lending
- In lieu of completed degree, HS diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of relevant experience
- 5+ years’ experience leading cross-functional teams in corporate development or M&A capacity
- 2+ years’ experience with financial analysis including modeling, underwriting, due diligence, documentation, and negotiations
- 5+ years’ experience independently leading origination, due diligence processes, performing financial analysis, preparing investment memos, and developing recommendations for senior management
