Act as a trusted advisor to executives and regional leaders on HSE risks, trends, and opportunities.
Foster strong employee engagement through safety campaigns, communications, and recognition programs.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements across ANZ & APAC.
Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure consistency and best practice.
Lead enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies, including critical risk management.
Oversee internal and external audit programs, ensuring timely closure of actions and continuous improvement.
Analyze trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities, informing strategic decision-making.
Requirements
8+ years of progressive experience in HSE leadership roles within large, complex, matrix organizations.
Demonstrated experience operating across ANZ & APAC regions with strong knowledge of local legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and drive cultural transformation.
Expertise in risk management, incident investigation methodologies, and HSE management systems.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align safety outcomes to business performance.
Advanced analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive insights and decision-making.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading change initiatives and embedding continuous improvement practices.
Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or related disciplines.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CSP, NEBOSH, ISO 45001) preferred.
