Role Overview
- Manage reimbursement accounts related to Immunology and Gastroenterology
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and payers to facilitate reimbursement processes
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations
- Provide training and support to clients regarding coding and billing requirements
- Develop strategies to improve access to therapies for patients.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Immunology
- Experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement
- Thorough understanding of the technical payer policy processes, systems and requirements for coverage, coding and payment for specialty medicines
- Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the Neuroscience space (Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors and white-bagging, etc.)
- Excellent territory and account management skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid driver’s license.
