About this role
Role Overview
Use statistical problem-solving techniques to identify trends, root causes, and gaps that impact business performance.
Create and maintain dynamic dashboards, reports, and scorecards that provide real-time insights into operational efficiency.
Work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements and convert them into conceptual and logical data models.
Extract, manipulate, and present data in ways that maximize usability and impact through dashboards, reports, and visual storytelling.
Provide broad analytical and operational support, ensuring key performance data is available for decision-making.
Partner with internal teams to gather performance data related to products, channels, and members, driving informed decision-making.
Perform analytical studies on business trends, operational performance, and member behavior to identify actionable insights.
Utilize BECU systems to conduct querying, modeling, forecasting, trending, variance analysis, and other data-driven evaluations.
Assist in qualitative and quantitative research phases to support assessments, long-range planning, and product/service enhancements.
Provide creative, strategic recommendations by identifying key business drivers and market trends.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, ensuring reliable data collection, analysis, and reporting practices.
Support initiatives that enhance the member experience and business performance through data-driven strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent relevant experience in data analysis.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data mining, query development, and multi-system data integration.
Experience in data analysis and visualization tools, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence platforms.
Experience in financial institution data analysis and reporting.
High level of accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
Experience with Tableau and other data visualization tools.
Ability to generate actionable insights and support long-range planning.
