Translation Analyst

Role Overview

• Work with internal and external operational teams to ensure excellent translation is collected and apply necessary quality controls
• Manage translation projects concurrently while ensuring that each is smoothly executed on budget and on schedule
• Be comfortable in data entry systems (Excel and a third party vendor “translation entry system” – training will be provided)
• Be comfortable conversing with clients and translation suppliers
• Be comfortable in a multi-language and multi-cultural environment
• Learn and apply some basic HTML “tagging” to translation (training provided)
• Manage all project tasks on a daily basis to ensure successful and efficient project completion in a “multi-tasking” and time-sensitive environment

Requirements

• B.A. or certificate in French-English translation not required, but preferred. Experience in the field will also be considered.
• Fully fluent in French and English (Spanish or other languages would be an additional asset)
• Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on prioritizing workload
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills that clearly articulate requirements to a wide audience
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
• Excellent command of Microsoft office (strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel required, particularly using various formulas)
