Primary duty is to independently perform electrical testing on batteries following laboratory procedures with minimal supervision while working closely with other members of the laboratory team.
Operate electrical instrumentation to measure the performance of batteries.
Generate accurate technical reports for the engineering groups.
Ensure that testing is started and completed on time by maintaining a flexible schedule and practicing good time management.
Ability to clearly communicate both written and orally.
Assist with product shipment and deliveries.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
High attention to detail.
Perform teardown evaluations of the product with minimal supervision.
Ability to operate battery-powered equipment for material handling.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Associate degree, or equivalent Military Experience in a related field, such as Electronics, Electrical Utility, Physical Sciences, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering; or 6-8 years of experience in a related discipline.
Good problem solving and visualization skills are needed.
Previous experience with battery testing software LIMS/VisuaLCN/Battery Manager etc.
Previous experience programming test sequences.
Previous experience with battery, battery chargers, DC electricity, or electrical measurement/data acquisition devices is required.
Previous certification on operating material handling equipment, PLC programming, or calibration certification is beneficial but not required.
