Support strategic communications initiatives that promote the school’s research, faculty expertise, student achievements, and community impact.
Contribute to storytelling efforts that align with institutional priorities and enhance the school’s visibility.
Help support and elevate communications platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and web-based news features.
Assist the team with creation and dissemination of content, which may include social media posts, short-form video content, event promotion, graphics, and visual assets.
Review past projects to provide recommendations for visual content strategy focused on increasing engagement and boosting views.
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Portfolio of creative work (video, graphics, and/or photography)
Strong visual and storytelling skills
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to meet deadlines and arrive on time for scheduled meetings (virtual or in-person)
Confidence in contributing creative ideas
Open to constructive feedback and committed to refining creative work through collaboration
Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
Familiarity with current social media platforms, trends, and analytics
Basic video editing experience (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software)
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
Photography and/or videography experience a plus
