This position is responsible for supervising regulatory staff within the Board of Medicine’s Initial Licensure Unit or Licensure Maintenance and Registration Unit.
The Initial Licensure Unit supervisor position primarily oversees initial licensure of the medical doctor, physician assistant, and anesthesiologist assistant professions.
The Licensure Maintenance and Registration Unit supervisor position primarily oversees Office Surgery and Pain Management Clinic Registrations, Pain Management Clinic Exemptions, and license renewals and reactivations.
All supervisor duties for five (5) Regulatory Specialist II positions.
Assisting with the development of laws and rules, applications and forms related to initial licensure.
Managing inspections and payments for the Office Surgery Program and the Pain Management Clinic Program.
Requirements
Minimum: Must be physically present in the office to effectively perform job duties and responsibilities.
Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
