Regulatory Supervisor/Consultant

Role Overview

• This position is responsible for supervising regulatory staff within the Board of Medicine’s Initial Licensure Unit or Licensure Maintenance and Registration Unit.
• The Initial Licensure Unit supervisor position primarily oversees initial licensure of the medical doctor, physician assistant, and anesthesiologist assistant professions.
• The Licensure Maintenance and Registration Unit supervisor position primarily oversees Office Surgery and Pain Management Clinic Registrations, Pain Management Clinic Exemptions, and license renewals and reactivations.
• All supervisor duties for five (5) Regulatory Specialist II positions.
• Assisting with the development of laws and rules, applications and forms related to initial licensure.
• Managing inspections and payments for the Office Surgery Program and the Pain Management Clinic Program.

Requirements

• Minimum: Must be physically present in the office to effectively perform job duties and responsibilities.
• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
