Prepare CPM scheduling activities and develop appropriate logic relationships and activity durations.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and templates using Microsoft Project.
Analyze project progress and proactively identify schedule risks and mitigation strategies.
Own and develop end-to-end scheduling logic on CRM platform.
Collaborate with operations teams, field staff, and trade partners to gather input and validate schedule logic.
Support preconstruction planning and baseline schedule development.
Produce regular schedule updates, look-ahead reports, and delay analyses.
Assist with resource loading, milestone tracking, and earned value reporting.
Participating in project meetings, offering insights into sequencing and milestone tracking.
Requirements
Organizational Skills: Ability to develop, manage, and maintain construction schedules for multiple solar projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones, resource availability, and construction deadlines.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or Construction Management or equivalent technical training in construction management is preferred
Experience: 2+ years of scheduling experience in commercial construction with preference for Renewable Energy or Solar System
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with construction teams, subcontractors, project managers, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure scheduling accuracy and updates.
Technical Skills: Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM Software.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in managing multiple project schedules, ensuring data accuracy, milestone tracking, and proactive identification of potential delays or conflicts.
Problem-Solving Skills: Skilled at resolving scheduling challenges quickly and efficiently, using real-time data and collaboration with Project Management to adjust plans and minimize downtime.
Teamwork: Capacity to work collaboratively with operations teams and other departments.
Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing schedule data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization across the solar project portfolio.
5-10% of travel required.
