Manage projects and conduct document quality review (DQR) on clinical components of documents
Perform DQR of clinical components of assigned documents
Document quality review findings for assigned documents
Identify and escalate significant findings immediately
Participate in resolution of findings with document authors and clinicians
Manage DQR document archival processes and procedures
Produce style guides, manuals, and quality review work guides
Lead completion of complex tasks using technical skills and specialized knowledge
Analyze DQR findings to identify root causes of errors and participate in corrective action planning
Lead compilation and analysis of data quality metrics
Set standards for collaboration, delivery of project commitments, and customer satisfaction
Evaluate routine processes to identify areas for improvements

BS/BA degree (preferably in English/journalism/communications or biological science)
7+ years of experience in medical writing and/or DQR/QC of clinical documents in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
Thorough understanding of scientific principles and knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to edit for clarity
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Attention to detail while working rapidly and accurately
