Lead and deliver complex power system studies including load flow, short circuit, stability, protection coordination, and harmonic analysis
Liaise directly with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance
Coordinate with offshore engineering teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of study outputs
Prepare and review technical proposals, contributing to winning new work and expanding our client base
Lead business development activities by identifying opportunities, shaping solutions, and presenting capabilities to potential clients
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and client specifications across all study work
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal capability development within the power systems team

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Chartered Engineer status is desirable
Extensive experience in power system studies across transmission, distribution, and industrial networks
Experience with one of the transmission owners (National Grid, Scottish and Southern Energy Networks, Scottish Power) is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g., BS, IEC, IEEE) and transmission owner requirements
Proficiency in power system analysis tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD, or similar
Proven track record of client engagement and successful proposal development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with or managing offshore teams is a plus
