Good academic background with a degree in civil engineering or geology / geoscience
Post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject
Good understanding of ground investigation techniques
Geotechnical design experience of structures, foundations and earthworks
Experience in general numerical software such as Geostudio, Repute, Wallap etc.
Chartered status or nearing Chartered status
Experience of working in a fast‑moving engineering consultancy environment
Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self‑check and produce accurate work
Willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas
Valid UK driving licence
