About this role
Role Overview
Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end release cycles across multiple Agile and non-Agile teams
Develop and maintain release schedules, roadmaps, and deployment timelines
Facilitate release planning sessions, including sprint alignment and cross-team dependency tracking
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure release readiness
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact release scope, timeline, or quality
Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and change management processes
Coordinate code merges, builds, and deployments across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production)
Oversee release documentation, including release notes, runbooks, and rollback procedures
Drive continuous improvement of release processes, tools, and automation
Monitor post-release performance and lead retrospectives to improve future releases
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience in release management, program management, or delivery management
Hands-on experience in hybrid Agile environments (Agile + Waterfall)
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC methodologies
Experience with release orchestration tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, ServiceNow)
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-team releases with competing priorities
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
