Assist the Statutory Reporting unit with the daily tasks related to the compilation of Statutory financial statements, reconciliations, process enhancement and other critical Statutory accounting and reporting projects.
Play a critical role in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting as required by the various state regulatory authorities.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Statutory financial statements to ensure timely and accurate presentation to the NAIC and the appropriate state regulatory authorities (Health Statement).
Prepare all supplemental filings that accompany the quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements as required by the appropriate state regulatory authorities.
Support and assist in various Department/Division of Insurance audits.
Support and assist in testing the development of NetSuite and other ad hoc reports.
Assist in the filing of the monthly, quarterly and annual Statutory financial statements using appropriate vendor software, submit filings to the NAIC, and individual states.
Lead and participate in ad hoc projects supporting Statutory Reporting and Finance needs as they arise.

Reinsurance accounting experience
from implementation to reporting
Advance excel proficiency, including experience with complex formulas
Hands-on experience with NetSuite (ERP) and Workiva (Wdesk) is a significant plus
A demonstrable track record of success / delivery in a changing and complex financial reporting environment.
A dynamic team player who is highly motivated, a self-starter, can demonstrate great initiative, and is customer-service oriented.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis.
