Responsible for everything related to our team, ensuring that Bike Club’s people practices support a compliant, well-organised and engaged organisation.
Oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes, policies and systems operate effectively.
Work closely with the SLT to support the evolution of Bike Club’s culture.
Lead our performance management processes across the business, including quarterly reviews, PIP and performance support programmes, and grievance/disciplinary processes.
Maintain HR data and employee records within our HR system and provide workforce metrics.
Support the SLT in the evolution of Bike Club’s culture by helping to implement initiatives that reinforce company values and behaviours and supporting managers to consistently apply these.
Requirements
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Working knowledge of UK & German employment law and HR best practice.
Experience managing the full employee lifecycle within a growing organisation.
Ability to build credibility and trust with employees at all levels, including operational teams.
Comfortable working independently within a remote team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain HR processes.
Practical, solution-oriented approach to HR challenges.
Experience working in HR within a startup or scaling business environment.
