Effective engagement with internal stakeholders to manage and mitigate risks relevant to the product (e.g. Engines) and customer relationships
Providing technical solutions to reliability and performance issues
Ensure all technical notifications, campaigns are received and understood by applicable stakeholders
Act as the direct technical liaison between field operations and COC
Providing relevant education associated with the technical information
Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive support and communication
Expert technical engineering guidance, feedback and support to COC R&D team and Liebherr customers
Observe engine performance and collect operational data
Expert diagnostics and troubleshooting
Oversee maintenance practices
Conduct failure analysis and report findings
Support field testing and validation of new components
Facilitate root cause analysis and change implementation
Facilitate knowledge transfer between engineering teams and field operations
Report technical issues and share diagnostic data
Requirements
Tertiary qualification
mechanical engineering
Practical experience on engine maintenance at large open cut mine operations
Several years of experience as an Engineer in a mining or maintenance department
Several years of experience as an Engineer in the manufacturing industry
Ability to travel nationally and internationally when required
