Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician

Role Overview

• Enter prescription and inventory information into pharmacy systems, ensuring completeness and compliance with established protocols.
• Verify medication details, including drug name, strength, dosage form, and quantity, against source documents.
• Assist pharmacists in maintaining updated inventory records and resolving discrepancies.
• Review and process incoming orders, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and prescription information following HIPAA and company policies.
• Support quality assurance initiatives by identifying and reporting errors or inconsistencies in item entry.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with pharmacy practices and technology.

Requirements

• Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state.
• National Certification or PTCB CphT
• Less than 3 years of related experience
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
