Participate in functional projects and support configuration activities for Workday’s Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, Scheduling product suite
Work independently and resolve complex Workday bugs impacting global / regional level workforce
Support day-to-day business operations to troubleshoot issues and develop configuration fixes
Ensure thorough documentation of requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes
Collaborate with team members and other functional teams (e.g. People & Culture)
Actively participate in discovery sessions with stakeholder(s) and/or project sponsor(s)
Demonstrate Workday configuration through the development of a proof of concept (prototype)
Support configuration testing efforts executing testing for any new Workday features being adopted
Support management on ad-hoc projects as required
Assist in development of training materials and partner in change management efforts and organizational readiness
Develop relationships with key stakeholders and customers in remote locations
Maintain process controls to help design, implement and/or monitor operations as part of initial configuration/implementation and continuous improvement
Participate in various process improvement projects, and assist in the process and system change implementations
Support PMO efforts for Workday projects
Understand and execute critical path activities and resolve or escalate issues as needed
Deliver on project/process documentation as part of transition of support to operations
Requirements
3+ years of Workday operational or configuration experience in HR, Payroll, Time Tracking or Absence
Experience in development and implementation of process and systems changes required
Prior experience in multinational environment required
Bachelor's degree in a business related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience required
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite of tools
Fluency in business English
Ability to gather and translate business requirements/technical solutions
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/activities and prioritize appropriately
Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn quickly through instruction and self-training
Proven analytical skills with strong attention to detail
