About this role
Role Overview
Consult and partner with key stakeholders to create, implement, and deliver learning strategies
Develop technology-related skills to enhance the firm's performance and efficiency
Assemble learning and development materials into curricula and training programs
Update and curate current training materials and research new sources of training content
Deliver new hire training and other classes in physical and virtual environments
Act as a coach in building the skills and abilities of personnel
Create educational resources and provide support related to technical products
Design learning solutions including courses, videos, and written documentation
Facilitate technology-related classes for all roles within the firm
Diagnose organizational technology performance issues and recommend solutions
Build trust and work effectively with all firm users
Participate in complex projects and ensure execution and measure effectiveness
Maintain records of student registration and course completion
Address training-related requests via the ticket management system
Relay best practices and procedures to new and existing personnel
Requirements
4+ years' experience with legal software systems
Successful participation and coordinating training projects in a business setting
Prior instructional design and curriculum development experience delivering technology-related material
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications
Understanding of techniques used to facilitate adult learning
Prior in-person and virtual classroom experience teaching technology-related material
Bachelor’s degree in a field related to education, technology, or business (preferred)
Prior technical writing or visual design experience (preferred)
Knowledge of video recording/editing software commonly used in learning and development (preferred)
Familiarity with the Microsoft Manual of Style (preferred)
Experience with learning management systems, learning development, and virtual classroom tools (preferred)
