Be responsible for client retention, staff development, and portfolio growth
Be a trusted strategic partner to our enterprise and cybersecurity clients, their executive teams, and drive communications strategies that will help them reach their full potential
Synthesize complex technical concepts into compelling, market-moving narratives that resonate with business, trade media, and new media alike
Work with Mission North’s integrated studio members to provide clients with programs that utilize traditional PR, digital, creator, and social
Maintain and leverage high-level relationships with key journalists, analysts, and editors to secure needle-moving coverage for clients
Manage budgets and team resources
Drive client calls, team planning sessions, new business pitches, end-of-month reporting, and invoicing
Conceptualize inventive influencer strategies and drive influencer engagement
Serve as a key contributor in new business
Cultivate the agency’s sphere of influence with agency peers, VCs, etc.
Manage 1-2 direct reports as well as mentor Account Managers and Senior Associates
Requirements
A minimum of 8-10 years of communications or PR agency experience, preferably with cybersecurity companies or related industries
Demonstrated experience developing, directing, and executing strategic communications programs that blend PR, content marketing, social media, and data
Experience helping disruptive technology companies develop compelling messaging, storylines, and thought leadership platforms
Are passionate about how these technologies are redefining how we live and work
Established relationships with top-tier trade media and bloggers, vertical market media and national and local business media
Experience running integrated PR programs, including paid content
Experience working with household names and emerging/disruptor brands in B2B technology, including data and cloud infrastructure, applied AI, cybersecurity, business process optimization, SaaS and other key elements of the modern business technology stack
