Role Overview
- Leads strategy deployment (SD), ensuring the alignment of the strategies through the deployment of KPIs
- Supports the leadership team creating the vision and strategies for objectives improvement, site master plan, and management process of BD Excellence components
- Works closely with the Plant Manager to develop and implement the strategy for BD Excellence Maturity
- Develops and executes with the leadership team and business unit managers, the BD Excellence implementation plan, budget and CTW plans
- Provide coaching to leadership team in BD Excellence components
- Develops and mentors in the zero-loss mindset across different areas to optimize quality, delivery and cost, improving safety
- Teaches, coaches, and demonstrates proficiency in BD Excellence concepts and systematic approach
- Manages Continuous Improvement activities at the Site to ensure the achievement of business objectives
- Leads and facilitates breakthrough Kaizen events Cost to Win (CTW) initiative
- Focuses on initiatives to improve Plant’s operational performance
- Coordinates the development and implementation of factory-loss improvement objectives
- Provides information to the site finance team to enable financial reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar bachelor’s degree
- Certified or recognized as a OPEX Production System specialist
- Kaizen / Lean Tools certification preferred
- 5+ years experience in Operational Excellence Systems (TPS preferred)
- 5+ years manufacturing experience (Japanese Automotive Industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Operational Excellence and Kaizen Project Management tools
- Strong Kaizen Lean tool Knowledge
