Personal Insurance Account Manager

Role Overview

• Support numerous areas of the Personal Insurance Department
• Service existing Personal Insurance clients
• Support onboarding process of new clients
• Evaluate client’s risk profile and determine strategy
• Gather pertinent information to complete quoting and policy issuance process
• Advocate for clients in negotiations with underwriters
• Assist in renewal evaluations and highlight coverage differences
• Process all client related requests timely and accurately
• Educate clients about policy coverage and changes
• Properly document, maintain and organize insured files
• Participate in team and client meetings

Requirements

• College education or equivalent insurance experience
• Active Property & Casualty License
• Solid understanding of personal insurance, terms and coverages
• Knowledge of quoting procedures and industry operations
• Ability to multi‐task and handle heavy workload with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines and working with shifting priorities
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others
• Demonstrated experience using an agency management system
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and E‐mail applications
• Existing professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, AAI, etc. or pursuit thereof is a plus
