Controller

Role Overview

• You oversee account monitoring and reporting, including investigating and reconciling unknown transactions/discrepancies, processing payroll transfers, and maintaining financial data
• Prepare financial plans, annual budget planning and statistics for categorizing income and expenses
• You are responsible for risk management
• You work closely with the CEO, HR, Operations and Support teams and monitor & control all incoming and outgoing payments
• You serve as the point of contact for all financial matters at both team and company level and represent the finance department in meetings

Requirements

• You have a commercial or business degree/training and several years of experience in a finance role
• You have experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• You are proficient with tools such as Google Workspace, Skool, ASANA, HubSpot, Thrivecart, Airtable, Shopify, PayPal, Stripe, Factorial and Canva
• Strong analytical skills: you can quickly structure and interpret complex numbers
• Attention to detail: you ensure accuracy and data quality
• Good communication skills and the ability to present results clearly
• High integrity: you are willing to surface uncomfortable truths
• You work in a process-oriented way to improve workflows and increase efficiency.
