Project manage the coverage of FIFA events and storytelling opportunities by creating content curation memo documents that plan editorial input and output.
Coordinate on-site teams and interviews in the lead up to, as well as during FIFA tournaments and events, managing internal stakeholder requests and supporting the requirements of the Content Production Editorial Board.
Provide hands-on support, including but not limited to producing video crews and capturing social media content while on-site.
Create tournament content toolkits by managing agency relationships and developing video, graphics and editorial briefs that highlight FIFA’s key messages in a creative way.
Support the Senior Content Production Manager in the ideation, production and timely delivery of video assets for FIFA institutional events, such as meetings of the FIFA Council, FIFA Congress, The BEST FIFA Football Awards etc.
Propose and manage new sources of multi-platform content, including the production and editorial direction of the FIFA Podcast.
Assist with Video News Release (VNR) production and distribution by utilising expertise on the platforms, services and tools at their disposal, including – but not limited to – Contentful, Bynder (FIFA Digital Hub), Imagen and Monday.com.
Contribute to a “multimedia-first” approach of content curation, ensuring economies of scale through strong content briefs which enable multi-platform approaches to publication.
Drive the promotion of individual stakeholder activities, including the effective delivery of content across FIFA’s owned and operated channels.
Support campaign planning and roll-outs, working with relevant functional areas, competition hosts and MAs.
Foster collaboration across multiple teams within the Communications Division – Editorial & Amplification, Corporate Communications and Communications Services – to ensure that all available tools (i.e. Digital Asset Management system) are considered to bring valuable content to life.
Investigate and project manage the integration of Artificial Intelligence into Communication Division and Senior Management workflows, testing various tools and identifying efficiencies that can be introduced.
Requirements
Proven experience (5+ years) working in an international sports and/or media organisation – with a specific background in football and/or journalism.
Media, communications, and public relations expertise and the ability to build and maintain a trusted audience.
Excellent English skills, including writing, communication, and presentation.
An outstanding team spirit with an entrepreneurial mindset that thrives when being challenged.
Proven experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including media and football staff, within an international environment.
Understand and be conscious of the political and commercial nature of a global governing body’s activities in addition to organising tournaments and events.
